I woke up this morning at 6:00 with contractions. They began kind of
sporadically so I didn't start timing them right away. By 7:00 they were coming on anywhere between 5 and 10
minutes but weren't necessarily intense (I could still talk & breath through them). I called Dr. Holly around 9:30 and he said that we should go in to have things checked out. By the time we got checked in my contractions became a little more
prominent and were between 2-3 minutes apart. They checked me for
dilation which I really wasn't (only 1/2 cm). They decided to try and stop them by giving me a shot of
Breathine. It worked. The contractions stopped, but the side effects were an
awful feeling of the shakes and racing heart; Naomi went crazy, bouncing off all the walls of my womb! We did NOT like it one bit! Since they were able to get the contractions under control and I wasn't
dilated they released me around 2pm. I am now back in bed and having contractions once again (about 10 min. apart). I have been having talks with our daughter explaining to her that if she doesn't stop these shananagans then how are we to know when she is *really* coming?!? She's tricky this one!! Thanks mom...you have willed a strong-willed daughter (just like myself) on me for 30 years. I hope you're happy =)

I am just happy that you and Naomi are healthy and doing well!
Somehow I think when she makes her grand entrance...she will leave her strong will behind....BUT I can always coach and encourage!!! Love to you all...see you soon!
