Brad went out of town on Monday for work and my friend Amanda came over to babysit me and spend the night. We had a fun girls night watching the Bachelor and eating cookies! Brad got home around 5:00 on Tuesday and that's when I took a sickly turn. We called Dr. Holly and he said that I needed to go into the hospital as I was contracting hard, running a fever of 101 and couldn't keep anything down. By the time we arrived I had started bleeding again. Dr. Gardner was the OB on staff that night so she came into my room around 11 and consulted with us. She said that I am now
dilated to 1cm. She doesn't expect for me to go to full term either, but like everyone else, she said that 36 weeks is the magic number to ensure Naomi's lung
development. I was still getting sick the next day so they kept me pretty drugged and I was completely out of it...I don't really remember Wednesday at all! Dr. Holly came in Thursday morning around 4:30 and checked on me and ordered an ultra sound. We got to see our precious Naomi who was holding onto her feet and putting them in her mouth. What a stinker; nothing is even phasing her! She weighs a healthy 5 lbs. 10 oz. I am home now and feeling pretty good. A few contractions here and there, but that's probably what's it's going to be until the real deal. Thank you all for following our already dramatic daughter!! And thank you for your prayers...they are working!
