NOooooo! Not Again!!!

I'm laying on the couch writing this because I am yet again on bed rest. I am 31 weeks today so this is way too soon to have issues, but I guess this is just my body's M.O. I REALLY thought this pregnancy was going to be different and I had great optimism that I would be able to do my normal activities right up until the end....nope. I lost my mucus plug yesterday which tells the doctor that my cervix is thinning out and my body is preparing for labor. I went in today to get a steroid shot to help Adler develop quicker (especially his little lungs). I don't have an appointment until Tuesday and have strict bed rest orders until then. I've done a little internet research and from my understanding, losing it can put you into labor right away or it could be weeks. I've also heard (from a friend of a friend) that the mucus plug can also grow back?! I'm not sure about that one, but at least it gives me some hope.
Just the other night I was telling Brad how strong Adler's kicks and punches are. He isn't quite as active as Naomi was, but I feel like he is stronger and as we all know, Naomi came out early and far more developed than the doctors and nurses expected. What can I say, we grow super hero kids, don't we?! :) I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a bit scared right now, but I have faith that God will keep our son safe and my gut is still optimistic and says that everything is going to be OK.
I know I've slacked on blogging lately, but now that I have more time than I know what to do with, I'll be on here more and boring you to tears ;)
I am so thankful that I have such loving family and friends. We are blessed with all the helping hands around us. Thank you ALL!!!

Hey Pretty Lady! First of all, how are you doing? Totally bored yet? And secondly, you brad, naomi, and addler would LOVE a cruise!!! You can either make it just you two or a family trip (Royal Caribbean is very family friendly)... the best part is that either way its an awesome time :) And i highly recommend shore excursions and paying a little extra for a room with a balcony :) thats what greg and i did and we wouldnt want it any other way... it was really nice to just relax in our room and hang on the balcony by ourselves if we wanted :) AWESOME! Anyway, cant wait to see you sometime soon as well... I MISS YOU! Take care of yourself :)
