It's a good thing we have that "ticker" on the right side of our blog to let you know how old Naomi is since I have been horrible at letting you know how she is doing, growing, looking, etc. I promise I will get some new pics up soon! In the mean time, I'll catch you up on the happenings around the Kellams' house:
Naomi weighs 12 lbs. and is now, smiling (both with her mouth & her eyes), cooing and occasionally giggling. She is also rolling from her back to her side, and trying really hard to get from her side to her belly, but her shoulder and arm act as speed bumps. Sometimes I "help" her out a bit, but she gets pretty ticked...I think she is gonna be a little Miss Independent...hmmm...wherever did she get that?! ;) She is facinated by her hands and feet and she is trying to figure out how to get her feet into her mouth. She did it in the womb, so I'm sure she will get the hang of it pretty quickly. She just started sleeping through the night. 7-9 hours--YEAAAA! Still in her carseat right next to our bed, but hey, we are ALL sleeping so whatever works for now...we will deal with the battle of the wills at a later date.
I'm back to work now. It seems to be working out really well for all of us. Brad was gone pretty much the first two weeks so a BIG thanks to ALL who helped out and watched Naomi, especially my niece Juliet. If you have ever wondered who "Peanut" is that leaves super cute comments on our blog, that would be her =) Thanks Peanut!!!!
My mom comes over to watch Naomi during the week when I go to work and then Daddy & Naomi get some good quality time in the evening until I get home. Brad has been trying relentlessly to put Naomi down at night, but she still wants her mommy....can't say that I am, too upset by that!
I am in complete awe of our little lady. She is an amazing child of God and I love her to pieces!!!
